My family likes me more when I'm high because I'm much happier and giving than I am in reality. How sad?

I went to church with my family half-stoned this morning after not doing so in about a year. The church is so screwed up. So fucked up. They are anti-feminist, anti-pride, anti-everything. They tell us to fear God, our husbands, and things that are different (or in their words, bad) from us. Churches are bullshit. Religion is just a reason for people to measure out their pain. It's just a mental tactic to temporarily simplify a person's current fears so that they can feel strong enough to live on.
