This song is so relatable. It can be interpreted into human feelings like isolation and loneliness. I've been listening to Sam Cooke for a month nonstop now and just realized this song was about racism. I can't believe ignorance like that is still around. Lots of people in my generation take it as a joke.. the majority at least. At least we've still got some beautiful music today even if you have to dig around for it. Hey, most of the time optimism's the only way to go. So there you go.
